In an older episode of the sitcom, they took a jab at UFC fans. Characters Peter Griffin and Lois Griffin were watching the news. The reporter said, “Our top story: An austere, monetary policy has the European Union on the brink of collapse, threatening the entire global economy. And for viewers making less than $40,000 a year, your top story is a big UFC fight this Saturday.”
Thus, the show quickly took a shot at die-hard fans of the promotion. However, this is not the only time a show has taken digs at the UFC fans or one of its members.

Do UFC fans have a control problem?
An article published in 2019 by ‘Sportscasting‘, discussed this issue. While the fighters need to be aggressive in the octagon, it looks like fans can get aggressive too. As per the article, some fans can themselves get into fights and brawls.
Sometimes a fight does not meet the viewer’s expectations. One such example is the Yair and Jeremy Stephens fight. When Rodriguez unintentionally poked Stephens in the eye, the latter was unable to continue the fight. It happened just seconds into the fight. Plus, the fight was the main event.
