Many well-known people have shared their thoughts on the entire situation. One such person is UFC commentator Joe Rogan. However, former UFC fighter and commentator Dan Hardy had a different take on the situation.

In a new tweet, he wrote spoke about the Tesla CEO taking over the UFC. He wrote, It would be awesome if @elonmusk bought the @UFC next.”

Twitter users had several things to say in return. However, a particular user pointed out that Musk could remove many fighters in the quest for excellence. Hardy was fine with that happening because it would help talented fighters as well as pay them well.

As reported by ‘BBC‘, the board of Twitter seems to have agreed to a $44 billion takeover offer from the business mogul Musk. He even wrote a Tweet regarding the same.

“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” reads a part of his statement.

Thus, the free speech seems to be an important part of Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter. Hence, it would be interesting to see what changes are made to the social media platform henceforth.
