Former One Direction Singer Liam Payne, Wayne Rooney, and Other Celebrities Who Attended the Blockbuster UFC London Event

UFC is the biggest MMA promotion in the world and attracts millions of viewers each year. It has held events across continents and witnessed some of the greatest PPV events in the sport’s history.

Amongst its fans are many celebrities from various walks of life who attend and enjoy the events as an audience. And so was the case at the latest UFC Fight Night 204 hosted at the O2 arena in London.

The O2 arena witnessed its largest audience at a single sporting event in history. They made UFC’s come back to the UK a blockbuster. The fans enjoyed some enthralling contests, some mind-boggling finishes. In addition, some of the biggest names in the region attended the contest.

UFC shared visuals of the star-studded event on their social media. The list includes a former member of the boy-band One Direction, Liam Payne; professional boxers Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua; English soccer legend Wayne Rooney; former world number one snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan.

The cameras captured Liverpool-born Wayne Rooney celebrating the win of fellow scousers Molly McCann and Paddy Pimblett.

Among other celebrities who attended the jam-packed event at the O2 arena was Matchroom boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn. Notably, Hearn was sitting right beside Dana White during the fights. It may escalate rumors of various bouts between professional boxers and MMA fighters.

Several UFC stars such as Brandon Moreno and Ciryl Gane also attended the blockbuster event.

UFC London: A night to remember

The UFC returned to the UK after a three-year absence because of a travel ban under pandemic situations. UFC President Dana White must be a happy man with the beautiful response they received on coming back. White would also be happy with how the card turned out to be. From the preliminary card to the main card, each fight gave awe-inspiring moments.
