Holly Holm, who last fought in October 2020, has yet to compete in 2021. She fought Irene Aldana in the UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana. In that fight, Holm showed massive improvements in her ground game, landing five takedowns en route to a unanimous decision victory. Now, according to a news leak by mmafighting.com, Holly Holm will make her first appearance in 2021 against Norma Dumont on October 16.

So far, no contracts are signed, but according to reports, they have reached a verbal agreement for what may be a 145lbs bout. The last time Holm fought a featherweight bout was against Megan Anderson in 2018. This was a three-round fight where Anderson looked promising in the opening round.
