Former UFC Champion Luke Rockhold Takes U-Turn on Retirement With Startling Announcement: “I’m a Free Agent… I Need New Obstacles”
Luke Rockhold, the former UFC middleweight champion, is getting ready to return to the ring. The champion mentioned his goal to enter the octagon as soon as possible in his most recent interview with ‘The MMA Hour’. At UFC 278 in August 2022, Rockhold and Paulo Costa had a terrific battle. The fighter, however, suffered numerous wounds throughout the fight and was ultimately defeated by decision. After a three-year layoff, Rockhold fought Costa, and his return wasn’t a positive one for him at the time. Costa’s forceful maneuver during the duel shattered the American fighter’s nose. Nevertheless, it now appears that he might make a speedy comeback.
