Jake Shields, the former UFC welterweight fighter, now a coach at Xtreme Couture, responded to the cryptic death tweet by the new Twitter owner and South African billionaire Elon Musk.

It seems Shields has been the happiest person (given his tweets) ever since the founder of Tesla and CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk bought the social media company Twitter. The latter bought it for a whopping $44 billion. He has claimed to use the platform for free speech.

The South African billionaire is infamous for cryptic tweets even before he bought the social media platform. Interestingly, Musk is continuing his thread of mysterious tweets.

Recently, the owner of Twitter wrote, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.”

It was confusing for many users. And as always, numerous users gave their speculations in the comments section. One of them was the ex-UFC welterweight fighter Jake Shields.

While reacting to Musk’s tweet, Shields wrote in the comments, “Elon musk didn’t kill himself.”

Last month, the South African billionaire shocked the world by offering $44 billion to buy Twitter. Interestingly, the Twitter board accepted his deal and Musk took over the famous social media platform.

While expressing his happiness about the fact that Musk bought Twitter, Shields wrote, “Never in history has there been a faster and more efficient way to share information then (than) Twitter. This is why the elites are freaking out at the possibility of losing that control to Elon Musk.”

Shields is a former UFC welterweight title challenger. Other than UFC, he has competed in other notable MMA promotions like Strikeforce and PFL. Later, Shields retired from professional fighting with a record of 33-11 under his name.

Now he is pursuing a career as an MMA coach. Moreover, Shields is highly active on social media. Previously, he also wrote a tweet suggesting that the new owner of Twitter Musk has fired the CEO after acquiring the platform.
