Former UFC Title Challenger’s ‘Broken’ English Dig at Nate Diaz & Brazilian MMA Legends Takes a Donald Trump Turn

Paulo Costa is becoming quite a social media star in the MMA world. The former middleweight title challenger is regularly making noise with his funny takes on Twitter. Recently, ‘Borrachinha’ pointed out an important skill that he uses better than some Brazilian legends and Stockton native, Nate Diaz.

The Team Borracha associate put a tweet, where he revealed, “Some jealous say my english is broken but it’s better than all these guys combined. Jose Aldo, Anderson Silva, Wanderlei and Nathan Diaz. For orther hand Charles don’t even speak Portuguese well.”

Interestingly, Costa had Nate Diaz besides the Brazilian MMA legends, Jose Aldo, Anderson ‘Spider‘ Silva & Wanderlei Silva, who are not native speakers of the language. Besides, he took a subtle dig at the lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira, not for his English but for Portuguese.

Costa also asked fans to do a list of their own in reply to his tweet. Subsequently, fans chimed in and offered other big-name celebrities Costa holds an edge over in this department. Among them, one tweet suggested an interesting name in the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Even ‘Borrachinha‘ approved the fan’s opinion.

Meanwhile, another MMA legend, Jake Shields, was observing the conversation; Subsequently, the ever-attentive former Strikeforce middleweight champion made a claim about Donald Trump.

“Trump only uses the best words,” wrote former UFC welterweight title challenger.

Shields is another MMA personality that’s very active on Twitter and often engages in such conversations. Recently, the BJJ fighter brought a question to Elon Musk about the infamous Johnny Depp-Amber trial.

The Stockton native is actively campaigning for his last contractual UFC bout on his current deal. The lightweight and welterweight fighter initially showed interest in fighting Dustin Poirier once and for all. However, like UFC 230, they couldn’t get inside the Octagon.

With Dana White hinting at a Conor McGregor trilogy bout, the Brazilian Jiujitsu black belt hinted at a contest against the submission leader in UFC, Charles ‘Do Bronx‘ Oliveira. The Stockton native posted a series of tweets, perhaps to suggest he has battered the competition, against whom Oliveira, early in his career, lost.
