Francis Ngannou will fight Ciryl Gane at the main event of UFC 270. The fight will be a Heavyweight Championship unification bout. Both the fighters are going through a rigorous training camp. The 6’4″ Cameroonian is currently training in the gym of MMA icon Randy Couture in Las Vegas. Recently, “The Predator” was spotted training with none other than Rico Verhoeven.

The Dutchman is the reigning Glory Heavyweight Champion. Besides filming for a movie in the USA, Rico is acting as a workout buddy for Ngannou. The 32-year-old Kickboxing legend is a great sparring fighter for Ngannou as well. Both are top-tier heavyweight fighters in their respective organizations and training with Verhoeven will certainly help Ngannou.

Eric Nicksick, Francis’s trainer, shared an Instagram post saying, “Found this dude cruising through the parking lot, thought he’d make for a good sparring partner this camp @ricoverhoeven @francisngannou “

Who will win between Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane?

Gane and Ngannou will fight each other on the first pay-per-view event of 2022; UFC 270. Of course, the fight will see some insane, raw fighting power. Current Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou is on a 5 win streak. Besides boasting a respectful record of 16wins and 3 losses, he has set up the world record for the hardest punch ever recorded. He finished 12 out of 16 matches with a nasty knockout.

With an unbeaten fighting record, “Bon Gamin” currently holds the interim title, which he won by defeating Derrick Lewis at UFC 265. The event will take place on Sunday, Jan 23rd in the Honda Center, Anaheim, United States.
