“Bon Gamin” is not one to call his opponents out as he rather believes in the philosophy of, ‘anyone, anywhere.’ But, there is one opponent he is not so fond of fighting. This is his teammate Francis Ngannou.

Teammates often fight themselves standing across each other in the octagon, in the UFC. Especially when the stakes are high, they can’t avoid fighting each other anymore. Hence, Gane recently laid out a condition for him to fight Ngannou.

He believes that it is worth fighting against his teammate only if it is for the undisputed gold. He said, “I think if the UFC does this, please do this for the belt. That’s it, Because, you understand, we’re from the same gym, the same coach.

Gane’s career record stands at an impressive 7-0 and given his ranking, he is set to fight a top contender in 2021.

Francis Ngannou is set to fight for the title next

Francis Ngannou looks set to fight for the heavyweight title next. Stipe Miocic dominated him in their first fight at UFC 220. Hence ‘The Predator’ will want to prove to the world that he has what it takes to dethrone the division’s most successful champion.

But, he believes the rematch will be different as he lacked the needed experience to fight a long-time champion like Miocic at that time. The fight will take place sometime in 2021. It remains to be seen if the Cameroonian fighter can claim the belt and hold on to it as Gane rises in the division.

What do you make of Gane’s thoughts on a matchup with Ngannou? Can ‘The Predator‘ become the heavyweight champion?
