Francis Ngannou took to social media and sent out a heartfelt post on Father’s Day to his late father. Through the post, Francis Ngannou revealed that his father passed away around 20 years ago. Ngannou has talked about his childhood through appearances on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ and fans have gotten to know him.
Fans in the comment section couldn’t help but point out that Francis Ngannou strongly resembled his father.

Chiefly, Ngannou’s past has been a huge part of his career as he’s spoken candidly about growing up in Cameroon. He frequently visits Africa and shares different snippets of the hardships he’s had to go through. Francis Ngannou is beloved not just for his ferocious fighting style but also because of what he’s come to represent.

Francis Ngannou: Heavyweight supremacy
While ‘The Predator’ is quite outspoken and candid, he does most of his talking under the bright lights of the octagon. He clinched the undisputed UFC championship at UFC 260 in his last outing and became one of three active African champions. What’s more, he’s on a five-fight KO streak that culminated with a knockout of Stipe Miocic.

Francis Ngannou is set to begin the trying task of defending his belt against contenders who have flooded the ranks. Staples such as Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane are knocking down the door of contention.
