The world of mixed martial arts seemingly thrives on rivalries. One such rivalry that has taken the world to the very edge involves Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou. Previously, Jones declared that he wished to get to fight Ngannou and make his debut in the heavyweight division. Although the talks proceeded for a while, the fight never actually happened. When the former light heavyweight champion finally entered the world of heavyweights, Dana White released ‘The Predator’ from the UFC. Without a doubt, this shattered the dreams of MMA fans.

However, Jones stuck with his debut while the Cameroonian warrior moved to the squared rings. Based on that, ‘Bones’ sent a wave of admiration to Ngannou. Surprisingly, Jones later dissed Ngannou and Daniel Cormier. The former UFC heavyweight champion tweeted about the same and asked Jones to pick a side. But, when asked about it in an interview with Mike Bohn, Ngannou had a surprise in wait.

Ngannou says Jon Jones has multiple personalities

Recently, Ngannou had an interview with Bohn. This comes prior to Jones’ big debut. Undeniably, Bohn asked Ngannou for his opinion on ‘Bones’. He recalled that Ngannou previously shared a couple of tweets where Jones acted as if he was confused and couldn’t take a side. In one of the tweets, Jones seemingly admired Ngannou for moving towards boxing.

However, as per reports, Jones also said, “He was never the light heavyweight champion. He never beat me. This has been my era since 2011. I want to make that loud and clear.” Furthermore, he tackled DC and declared that the title of champ-champ was associated with an asterisk. Ngannou undeniably had a lot to say about Jones.

Although the Cameroonian declared he didn’t have any problem with Jones, he couldn’t steer clear of taking a swing at him. He said, “Well, I think Jon Jones, personally, I have, I don’t have any problem with Jon Jones. I think we all know that Jon Jones has multiple personality. And sometimes it’s even hard for him to figure out who he is, who he’s really is. And I don’t, I don’t have nothing to do with that, you know.”

Francis Ngannou’s possible opponents for his boxing debut

The former UFC champion has turned to dominate the boxing ring. He gave out three names and asked the fans to pick an opponent for him. He declared that he would fight against the one the public decided to pick for the debut.
