The latest guest on the Joe Rogan Experience or JRE has caused a frenzy among the fans. Rogan’s highly popular podcast recently made a return to YouTube after a period of exclusivity with Spotify. In 2020, the UFC color commentator and podcast host shocked the world when it was announced that he would be taking his show exclusively to Spotify for a whopping 100 million dollars.

Earlier this year, Rogan inked a new deal with the company that was reported to be around $250 million approximately and would let the JRE air on multiple platforms like YouTube, Apple Podcasts, etc. According to Ashley Carman in a report for Bloomberg, the JRE is streamed by 14.5 million followers on Spotify dwarfing other shows on the platform!

However, with the massive audience comes backlash as fans of the show are vocal about their displeasure with the guests or the topics of discussion on particular episodes. And this time, comedian Akaash Singh, known for being a part of the ‘Flagrant’ podcast with Andrew Schulz, was in the cross-hairs of fans who weren’t happy with his presence on the show’s episode no. 2139.
