Jackson said, “My most memorable moment was when I finally knocked Wanderlei Silva’s ugly a** out. That motherf**ker gave me two of the worst a** whoopings I ever had. And I always knew I can beat him. But when I first, when I fought him in Japan, I just didn’t have the right sparring partners. I had a good team and stuff, but most of them like, they was real good jiu-jitsu guys. It just wasn’t like strikers. So, you know this guy is ax murdering, he’s like one of the best strikers in Pride and I’m sparring with like jiu-jitsu guys.”

The former UFC light heavyweight champion also outlined his ambitions to stake the upper hand in the rivalry once and for all.
