Quinton Jackson had a long career in the world of mixed martial arts. The fighter entertained the combat sports community with his phenomenal fighting skills and rivalries. One of the most talked about rivalries that he had was against Wanderlei Silva. The two have gone against each other four times and each fighter has two wins over the other.

‘Rampage’ Jackson was recently featured on ‘Jaxxon Podcast’. Therein, he was asked about his most memorable moment in the world of Ultimate Fighting Championship. It wasn’t a surprise when Jackson claimed that it was the time when he fought Silva. He claimed that his rival defeated him twice, and the time when he finally knocked out Silva, it etched a golden memory for ‘Rampage’ in the UFC.

In his recent appearance on ‘Jaxxon Podcast’, the interviewer asked the former fighter about his most memorable moment in the MMA promotion. Without wasting a single moment, he named a moment involving ‘The Axe Murderer’.

Jackson said, “My most memorable moment was when I finally knocked Wanderlei Silva’s ugly a** out. That motherf**ker gave me two of the worst a** whoopings I ever had. And I always knew I can beat him. But when I first, when I fought him in Japan, I just didn’t have the right sparring partners. I had a good team and stuff, but most of them like, they was real good jiu-jitsu guys. It just wasn’t like strikers. So, you know this guy is ax murdering, he’s like one of the best strikers in Pride and I’m sparring with like jiu-jitsu guys.”

The former UFC light heavyweight champion also outlined his ambitions to stake the upper hand in the rivalry once and for all.

‘Rampage’ wants to settle the score with Silva

In a previous interview with ‘No Jumper’, ‘Rampage’ declared that he would like to have another fight with his former rival. He revealed that he wanted to fight a revenge bout against Silva, since he was getting old.

Jackson revealed, I’d like to do some revenge fights since I’m old and all. There are a couple of guys I owe a kick in the a*s to. For example, Wanderlei Silva.” Additionally, he disclosed that he wanted to settle the score against him.
