2023 seems like it can be a great year for the UFC. Firstly, the undefeated Jon Jones came back to the UFC and became the HW champ. Now, Georges St-Pierre is making a comeback to the UFC in December to compete in a grappling match. St-Pierre, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest UFC fighters ever, is on the prowl for his next opponent.
Amidst all of this, Tesla and Twitter owner Elon Musk called out Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and the two have started beefing. From the recent posts and the way it is progressing, it seems that it is headed toward a ‘possible UFC Octagon fight’. UFC fighters like Dominick Cruz, Jon Jones, and others have pitched in their names to help the fighters train. UFC President Dana White had nominated himself to promote the event. And now, it seems another big name is coming back to the sport.

During this interview, Bisping brought up the topic of Georges St-Pierre returning to the UFC for a grappling match and a possible Nick Diaz return in the same event.
“I dont know. My agent talked to the UFC today. This is real fresh news. They told me that Nick… Nick was interested, apparently. But Nick is still under contract with the UFC. So he still have another fight apparently in his contract. So they would like him to come to participate into the grappling event to make it big, you know.“, said St-Pierre.
Talking about the other fighters who will be partaking in the grappling event, St-Pierre continued, saying, “It’s gonna be hosted in a bigger place than usual. So… I’m gonna be competing. There will be other big name in the grappling world like Gordon Ryan, probably… it’s never been a better time to be jiu-jistu fans.“.
The former two-weight champion also said that the event is not likely to be held at the UFC Apex. Interestingly, Diaz is only one of the legacy names associated with St-Pierre’s return to competition.
