Georges St-Pierre retired from MMA at the top. The UFC legend defeated Michael Bisping for the middleweight championship, after which he called it a day. Since retirement, St-Pierre has been up to a lot of things, and from his recent Instagram story, it looks like the former champion has now turned into a film critic.

On his Instagram story, St-Pierre uploaded a poster image of the movie ‘Top Gun Maverick’. The movie stars Tom Cruise in the lead role. People around the globe have enjoyed it, and GSP seems to be one of them.

Sharing the image on his Instagram, GSP captioned it saying, “If you seen the first one, you must see this one.” From this, it is safe to assume that St-Pierre is a Tom Cruise fan.

One can assume that St-Pierre knows about the movies. Because, while people know ‘Rush’ for his fighting skills, St-Pierre himself has appeared in the movies.

Throughout his MMA career, fans have known Georges St-Pierre for his fighting skills. The former UFC champion used a blend of striking and grappling to create magic in the octagon. In his run in the UFC, ‘Rush’ won belts in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. His dominance in the cage led to many people believing he was the Greatest Of All Time.

However, along with his career in mixed martial arts, St-Pierre also appeared in a few movies. St-Pierre’s first role in the movies came in a film by the name of Death Warrior. The action-thriller featured fellow MMA fighters such as Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine, and Quinton Jackson.

Further in his acting career, ‘Rush’ featured in a movie based on MMA. The movie was named Never Surrender. It had other MMA fighters such as Anderson Silva, and BJ Penn, to name a few. Similarly, he was featured in a documentary named The Striking Truth.
