St-Pierre appeared on the PBD podcast alongside host Patrick Bet-David, where the two went over a cluster of topics. In one segment, Bet-David asked St-Pierre if he would fight Nurmagomedov or Conor McGregor for 100 million dollars. St-Pierre was quick to reply by saying, “No, for no – money.”

Bet-David then proposed a hypothetical situation where, if St-Pierre trained for six months, would he be able to beat the current McGregor and Nurmagomedov? St-Pierre replied, “Well if I have the same… the motivation to do it, yeah I believe so. If I have the motivation to go through another training camp.”

When asked if this was because of an age issue or not, St-Pierre said, “It’s not the fight guys, it’s… I don’t want to take two months of my life getting – I don’t want to waste two months of my life doing this. I just don’t want to put me through the stress, through the – grind of doing this again.”

The lack of motivation is the main reason behind St-Pierre not choosing to accept the $100 million fantasy matchup.
