Justin Gaethje’s victory against Michael Chandler at UFC 268 earned him the number 1 contender position. This will give him the opportunity to fight for the lightweight title soon. However, it might not be that easy because Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov are opposing this. 

Like any other fighter, Makhachev too wants to fight for the title soon. He is on a 9 fight win streak and hence, Khabib feels that Makhachev should get a shot over Gaethje. However, Gaethje is the number 1 contender currently. This clash has given rise to a number of different opinions about who should get the title shot.

Kamaru Usman holds the prestigious welterweight title. Amongst this Twitter argument, he gave some advice.

Kamaru Usman pokes fun at manager Ali Abdelaziz amongst Khabib-Gaethje feud

Ali Abdelaziz is the manager of some of the tops UFC fighters. This includes Usman, Khabib, Gaethje, Makhachev, and many more. It seems that Abdelaziz is right in between this entire feud. The fighters he has been managing aspire to fight for the title and being in the same weight division, these arguments were bound to happen someday.

Poking fun at Khabib and Gaethje’s Twitter arguments, Usman advised both of them to get their social media passwords back from their manager. He wrote, “@TeamKhabib & @Justin_Gaethje y’all both my brothers so do like I did and get your passwords back lol”.

It seems that Abdelaziz’s fighters are not only firing at each other but also at him. Many Twitter users chimed in to continue Usman’s hilarious tweet by suggesting that it was ultimately Abdelaziz writing it.

Gaethje had previously fought Tony Ferguson to win the lightweight interim belt. However, he lost the unification bout against the champ Khabib. Makhachev has lost only 1 bout in his entire MMA career. Hence, Khabib is relentlessly pushing for Makhachev to get the title shot.
