UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Emmett had excitement and disappointment. The main card opener between Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon never happened as the latter pulled out because of an injury. This cancellation led to UFC President Dana White comparing this fight to the Khabib Nurmagomedov-Tony Ferguson cancelation saga.

In the post-fight press conference, White was asked if he would re-book the fight between Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon. The UFC President replied, “Probably not. That thing’s getting like Tony and Khabib. No, I will not book that fight again.
