‘Durinho’ after a loss in his title fight in 2021, bounced back into the win column with a dominant win over Stephen Thompson at UFC 264. The latter is a highly skilled striker. However, Burn’s next opponent is one of the best wrestlers from the division.
The Brazilian fighter will take on the welterweight sensation Khamzat Chimaev on the main card of UFC 273. ‘Borz’ has an excellent ground game, which he displayed during his last four outings. Hence, to match his skill set, ‘Durinho’ has brought in two Russian wrestlers in his training camp.

Khamzat Chimaev doesn’t see a ‘real challenge’ in Gilbert Burns
‘Borz’ since his debut in the promotion has been dominating his opponents inside the cage. He is currently on a four-fight undefeated streak and hails a perfect professional MMA record of 10-0.
The Chechen star has finished three of his four opponents in the first round. He has looked invincible in his UFC run. But, at UFC 273, it will be the first time Chimaev will face a top-tier fighter.
