Gina Carano Issues Statement After Her Twitter Account Goes Missing

MMA Pioneer & Hollywood actress Gina Carano has a massive following from fans in both industries. However, recently they noticed that the former Mandalorian actress’s account was no longer visible on Twitter.

Before fans could speculate why they could not find Carano on the social platform that earlier this year, Elon Musk wanted to take over, the former Strikeforce and EliteXC martial artist issued a statement on her Instagram handle regarding the situation.

Gina Carano opened up about her Twitter news

Recently a trailer for Carano’s movie ‘My Son Hunter’ came out & received some criticism on Twitter. While many fans wanted to see whether the martial arts enthusiast would respond to these opinions, her Twitter handle was missing from the Internet.

In a statement made on her Instagram stories, the 40-year-old wrote, “I didn’t get banned from Twitter.. I deleted it.”

Carano has been in the news in the MMA space recently, chiefly after Ronda Rousey talked about returning inside the Octagon for one fight and one opponent only, i.e., Gina Carano. Even Carano, in a conversation with UFC commentator Joe Rogan, replied to Rousey’s challenge.

Will we ever see these pioneers of WMMA fight each other?

‘Conviction’ and ‘Rowdy Ronda’ have been on a collision course for around a decade in the heads of fight fans. But even UFC President Dana White and these two elite MMA athletes were on board with the idea.

Carano even shared how close she was to make a comeback against Rousey. However, that did not materialize.

While both athletes moved forward in their respective fields, the fight fans always wanted to see them test their skills against each other. Rousey even offered she would not mind jumping weights to get a chance to share the Octagon with her idol.
