UFC President Dana White is known for being outspoken and speaking his mind, no matter what. The UFC’s head honcho is mad at ESPN. This came out during a fun interview with ‘GQ’ where he was asked several questions about the UFC; One such question was about increasing fighter’s pay.

White had answered, “It’s never gonna happen while I’m here, believe me, these guys get paid what they’re supposed to get paid. They eat what they kill. They get a percentage of the pay-per-view buys and the money is spread out amongst all the fighters.”

ESPN wrote an article about this comment and the UFC President was not impressed. He appeared in a new interview with ‘Yahoo! Sports’ where Kevin Iole asked him about the same.

Dana White said, “What you’re telling me is some sc**bag media guys out there watched an interview that wasn’t even theirs, took it out of context, and wrote stories about it saying the fighter pay is never going to go up. I’m getting shocked!”

“Come on. Get the f**k out of here. You shouldn’t even be writing a f**king story about anything unless you do the f**king interview. You’re going to watch a fun, haha GQ f**king Q&A and write a story off it? You’re a piece of sh*t.”

Dana White went on to explain how boxing had a different pay structure than that of the UFC.

“F**k you and you should never be able to write for anybody ever again. So what I said was boxing has absolutely been destroyed because of the guys being all bankrupt and all this other sh*t… I’m never going to let the things that happened in boxing happen here while I’m here.”

Dana White is angry at ESPN

Dana White felt the journalist should have called and asked before writing about it.

The promoter further said, “I don’t give a flying f**k about who wrote it, even if it was ESPN. You’re a f**king piece of sh*t.”

While it was visible how annoyed Dana White was, Iole respectfully disagreed with him. The reason was that White or UFC fighters make comments about the pay and the UFC President isn’t always around to clarify everything. Hence, the media house took a video of him and wrote about it.

However, the UFC President still felt it was wrong because it was a fun and edited video of him. It angered him that a big media publishing house wrote about it out of context. Dana White said, “Give me a f**king break.”

In addition to this, Iole and White also went back and forth about their opinions regarding the piece that was published. In fact, Dana White even asked Kevin Iole to admit he was wrong.

The interview soon concluded with Dana White setting the record straight by clarifying his comments in the GQ interview.
