The famous podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan landed in controversy lately, after a guest from his podcast made comments on the ongoing pandemic in one of his episodes.
Many took to social media and demanded Spotify to ban Rogan’s show after the comments. However, several others backed the UFC commentator. One of them is the famous British journalist Piers Morgan.

Morgan, in his recent article in the New York Post, lauded Rogan for his out-of-the-box thinking. And also took aim at Rogan’s opposers, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

In his article, Morgan wrote, “Spotify should do us all a favor by tearing up Meghan and Harry’s contract and giving their money to Joe Rogan for more of his shows.”
However, Piers Morgan is not the only notable personality who has backed Rogan amidst the ongoing controversy.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson came out to support Joe Rogan
Joe Rogan is one of the most influential personalities today. He has an enormous fan base on the internet. Rogan openly talks about various topics, including sports, space, and medicine on his podcast, which sometimes lands him in trouble.
Following the controversy, Rogan posted a ten-minute-long video on his official Instagram account, explaining his side to the audience. And cleared some of the allegations made on his famous podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. He also stated to keep a balanced perspective and use his podcast as a platform for free expression.

Interestingly, the former WWE champion and global star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson also came out to support Rogan and also expressed his desire to join him someday in his podcast.

He wrote, “Great stuff here, brother. Perfectly articulated. look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.”
