Claressa Shields is perhaps one of the few boxers who has entered MMA. Switching between her boxing and MMA career can be troublesome, but Shields seems to be doing extremely well at both. She is just two fights old in MMA and sports a 1-1-0 record.
Her boxing skills surely aid her in MMA. However, there are several other aspects that she would love to work on. For example, knowing how to wrestle gives many fighters an edge over strikers. Shields seems to be aware of it and hence, desires to learn wrestling.

After his early retirement from the sport, Cejudo has been training other UFC fighters. He previously helped Zhang Weili prior to her second bout against Rose Namajunas. ‘Triple C’ also trained Deiveson Figueiredo before his UFC 270 fight against Brandon Moreno.
Light heavyweight legend Jon Jones, too, has been training with Cejudo as he plans to return at the heavyweight division. So the Mexican athlete has some of the top UFC fighters depending on him for coaching. Now, Claressa Shields also seems interested in learning from him. Shields and Cejudo shared a joyous interaction on Twitter. She seemed ready to learn.
Cejudo tweeted, “Goats recognize goat. Mahhhhh”
