In 2019, McGregor shared an update on social media where he stated that he had been building 8 houses to provide shelter to homeless families.

In the post on Twitter/X, McGregor stated, “God please fix this situation  Horrific scenes out of this despicable war in the last few days and over the years. How can we, as human beings, be at conflict with one another as sickening as this? God please I pray”

McGregor has yet to make his UFC return after his loss due to an injury against Dustin Poirier at 264 in 2021. He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at the conclusion of TUF 31 this year. But the bout failed to materialize due to McGregor not being active in the USADA Testing Pool. However. all that may change soon.

McGregor and Michael Chandler may face each other at UFC 300

UFC rules state that fighters have to be actively tested for 6 months after entering the testing pool before being allowed to compete. However, McGregor fans are excited. Recently, reports confirmed that McGregor and his potential opponent, Michael Chandler, have both initiated the USADA testing process.

Conor McGregor’s absence from the USADA testing pool played a major role in the cancellation of his bout with Michael Chandler for this year. However, in a recent social media post, McGregor stated that he is “back in the pool”.

UFC CEO Dana White also confirmed the same at the UFC Vegas 80 press conference. By stating, “He has submitted the paperwork so probably by Monday he will be submitted.” Michael Chandler then added more weight to the possibility of the bout materializing on his social media. by quoting McGregor and sharing an image of what was supposedly his USADA sample.

The timeline for testing indicates that both fighters will be ready for a proposed matchup at UFC 300 next year. Chandler has also stated his belief that the fight will occur in an interview with The MMA Hour. Chandler revealed in the interview, “The status is, unequivocally, the fight is still happening,”
