Jake Shields is one of the most coveted names in the entire MMA world. He was also a famed face in other fight promotions apart from the UFC, including a title run as the Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. Shields got involved in a beef with another noted face of the fight world, Dillon Danis, during the Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz fight. Shields was a teammate of Diaz while Danis was McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach. The entire teams of Diaz and McGregor got into a feud with each other.

It has been six years since then, but members of the team Diaz haven’t shown any signs of ending this beef. Recently, Shields fired at Danis once more, as he tweeted about Danis making a mockery of him.

Shields also had locked horns with Danis on Chael Sonnen’s ‘Submission Underground 4’ where Shields defeated Danis. The feud has only gotten worse since then till date when Nate Diaz got into a scuffle with Danis after UFC 281 and slapped one of his teammates. Shields also included this as an achievement of Dillon Danis in his tweets.

Shields deriding tweets about Danis contained a list of his prestigious achievements in the last five years. The ‘former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion’ posted a series of 3 tweets that contained a list of the incidents where ‘Conor McGregor’s ex-jiu-jitsu coach’ was thrashed by several people, including a random bouncer. This was the first tweet of the series.

A lot of fans might contradict a few of the points in them. It was clear that Nate Diaz slapped one of Danis’ friends, but Shields stated that Diaz had slapped Danis.

Shields showed no signs of stopping and put out a second tweet. It contained some more achievements of Dillon Danis.

In two instances, Shields implied that Danis was actually afraid to confront him. His tweet stated, “lost to me at his sport then when I saw him at the club ran out the door” and “called me out then refused to sign the contract”. Shields’ mockery of Danis being afraid was apparent from these two points.

Shields’ tweet’s ending clearly implies that he is still in the mood to fire more shots at Danis. But, he has run out of memory about Danis’ so-called incredible achievements. Hence, he wants his followers to remind him if he has missed out on any of Dillon Danis’s famed achievements.
