Greg Hardy is an NFL star turned MMA fighter. The heavyweight fighter has a decent MMA record of 7-3, after he first appeared on the scene when he defeated former NFL star, Austen Lane, at Dana White’s contender series 9.

In his UFC career, Hardy is most infamously remembered for using an inhaler in between rounds in his fight against Ben Sosoli. Since that fight, Hardy has had notable victories against Yorgan de Castro and Maurice Green.

Recently, Hardy took to Instagram to announce that he is all set to face ‘Australia’s favorite son’ on July 10, the expected date for UFC 264.

“Getting ready for July 10th. It’s on contract signed and the prince is locked and loaded. Bout to drop a couple of the grade American super spiller G bombs on Australia’s favorite son,” Hardy wrote.

Recent news suggests that Hardy is going to face Tai Tuivasa at UFC 264. They posted the news on Combat sports insider’s Twitter account.

“Greg Hardy will return to the octagon to fight fan favorite Tai Tuivasa in a heavyweight bout on July 10th at UFC 264. This is a great fight between two unranked heavyweights. This should be a fun fight!

Tuivasa won his previous 2 fights against Stefan Struve and Harry Hunsucker. ‘Bam Bam’ has been in great form recently and would be a great test for the former NFL star.

UFC 264 is all set to happen on July 10, but the promotion has still not decided on an official location and venue for the same. However, Dana White has expressed an interest in having the event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The UFC 264 card is probably going to be headlined by the Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor fight. Meanwhile, matches between Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson, Jessica Eye and Jennifer Maia, and now Greg Hardy vs. Tai Tuivasa are speculated to happen.
