During episode #1995 of the JRE podcast, Joe Rogan had the pleasure of sitting down with the brilliant mind behind the John Wick franchise, Chad Stahelski. As the conversation delved into the intricacies of the film, Rogan couldn’t help but express his admiration for Halle Berry’s remarkable performance.

In awe of Berry’s physicality and believability in the movie, Rogan eagerly asked Stahelski, How long did Halle Berry had to train for that movie? Because she had so many physical- First of all, she is awesome. She’s so good in the movie. She’s so believable and she’s so like, physically adept. Like, I had no idea she could move like that.”

Responding to Rogan’s inquiry, the director shared a fascinating anecdote about Berry’s involvement. Stahelski revealed, I didn’t even write the script yet, you know. I just got a call from the WME, my agent saying, ‘Hey, would you like to meet Halle Berry?’ [I said,] ‘Yes. Yes of course’. I think she was down either that day or the next day, just banging on my door… She’s like, ‘I wanna be in your movie. She was that straightforward. No b*llsh*t.”
