Hollywood actress Halle Berry is a known name in the UFC community. She has been spotted at UFC events and even promoted her MMA film ‘Bruised’ and the promotion’s UFC 268 PPV event. The Academy Award winner even squared off Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili and presented ‘Thug’ Rose with the belt after her victory on ‘Magnum’.

Her Netflix movie gave people insights into the struggles fighters have to go through. The action-packed film also featured women’s flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko.

Berry took to Instagram to talk about her film and made an exciting announcement about the behind-the-scenes documentary (Behind Bruised). It will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

She wrote, “I had this BURNING desire to tell the story of “Bruised” and there were so many days I felt I was going to die if I couldn’t.”

“There were so many obstacles in our way! Every week, I was told we were about to be shut down, but we persevered and “Behind Bruised” is a tribute to that struggle and to those who stood in 100% support of me, my struggle and the process.”

“You’ve seen the final film of our labor of love which is “Bruised,” but experience the real real…the blood, sweat and tears that went into the @netflix film which is the “true fight.””

‘Bruised’ will be a special movie for the actress, as it was her directorial debut. The movie also received a great response from viewers who loved her portrayal of ‘Jackie Justice’.
