‘Behind Bruised’ has arrived at the UFC Fight Pass. The exclusive documentary would show the behind the scene sequences of Halle Berry’s directorial debut movie, ‘Bruised’ featuring UFC women’s Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and Halle Berry.

Since the making of the movie, the Hollywood star has taken a keen interest in MMA. To make the movie look realistic, Berry took help from UFC President Dana White.

Also, Berry trained various facets of MMA, before the movie, to understand the mindset of a fighter.

Valentina Shevchenko played the role of the antagonist in the movie. She was also the one helping Berry throughout the movie. Thus, Berry thanked the ‘Bullet’ for her efforts in one of her Instagram stories.

“Bruised wouldn’t have been the magic that it was without @bulletvalentina #BehindBruised @ufcfightpass,” captioned Berry.

The documentary, ‘Behind Bruised’, is available at UFC Fight Pass. In the clip shared by UFC Fight Pass’ Instagram, Berry can be seen sparring with the Shevchenko.

Apart from the ‘Bullet’, multi-time women’s boxing champion Claressa Shields, former UFC fighter Pearl Gonzalez and Renzo Gracie, helped her prepare for the movie as Berry shared on her Instagram stories.

Halle Berry had a Valentina Shevchenko story

Halle Berry and Dana White did a Q/A, ahead of UFC 272. The two discussed a bunch of topics on how their friendship came about. During the show, Berry talked about an incident that happened at the set. Berry broke her ribs during the shooting; She shared how Shevchenko responded to the news.

“No, no, you didn’t, nothing, I didn’t hurt you,” Berry said, mimicking Shevchenko.

‘Bullet’ is set to defend her flyweight championship against Taila Santos at UFC 275 PPV on June 11. This will be the seventh defense of her flyweight championship.
