UFC 268 fights were magnificent and left the crowd wanting more. Because of such amazing match-ups at the event, fans have higher expectations for the promotion’s upcoming events. 

Interestingly, actress Halle Berry was also present at UFC 268. She squared off fighters Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili. Berry started trending in the news because of her presence at the event, as well as for flexing on both the fighters. 

It is not uncommon to find actors present at UFC events. WWE superstar and actor Dwayne Johnson, aka ‘The Rock’, was also previously seen at the UFC 244 event. Their attendance at the fight events surely is a great crowd-puller. 

Dana White explains how Halle Berry got on board for UFC 268

In an interview, when Dana White was asked whether ‘The Rock,’ or Halle Berry was more fun as the sidekick in the octagon. White was, of course, unable to choose as he respects both these stars. He said, “They’re both fun. You know, Halle is incredibly passionate about the sport. She loves the sport. She just did a movie about the sport that’s coming out soon. So, you know, I am gonna support her however I can and promote her movie.”

Speaking about how Halle Berry got on board, he said, “During the pandemic, we were part of a charity that Reuben put on for fanatics and people bid to go to dinner with us. So, we had the dinner last night and you know, she flew in for the flights and the dinner.”

Dana White also mentioned that fights happening in New York do not mean that a celebrity will be present. With Halle Berry, things just seemed to work out in their luck.

The actresses’ presence definitely attracted a lot of attention to the fights. Berry attended the event to promote her upcoming movie ‘Bruised’ which is on mixed martial arts. Viewers are already praising her work in the movie trailer. UFC fans are in for a much greater surprise because Valentina Shevchenko also plays a part in the movie. Thus, spotting Berry at the UFC event was not that surprising.
