Kevin Holland lashed out at the media for asking about his title aspirations. Currently, Holland is all set to fight Jack Della Maddalena at UFC Fight Night 227. The bout between the two is expected to be a grand spectacle, as both fighters showcased brilliant performances in their last fight. If ‘Trailblazer’ managed to win against the Australian fighter, he would achieve a three-fight winning streak. Holland’s last bout was against Michael Chiesa, and he won the bout in the very first round via submission.

Presently, his MMA record stands at 25 victories and 9 losses. Even after achieving some impressive victories in the UFC, Holland is not eyeing the belt. While he was talking in the pre-fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 227, the 30-year-old made it clear that his focus was not on the belt. When an interviewer asked the reason behind the same, Holland lashed out at the interviewer, as he didn’t want to explain why he was not running behind the belt. When fans came across Holland’s reaction, they were highly disappointed with him.

Few fans criticized Holland for lashing out at the interviewer. According to a fan, Holland tried to talk like UFC CEO Dana White but made no sense. •  “he’s realistic and has embraced the fact that – like the VAST majority of UFC fighters – he’s never realistically gonna be a champion did the reporter want him to explicitly verbalize that he’s
  • “not good enough” or something? why repeat the same question”
  • “Just say you’re not good enough Imao, no need to sound like an idiot trying to deflect”

A fan claimed that Dana White destroyed the real meaning of the belt by giving it to fighters like Conor McGregor. This fan feels that McGregor got the belt because he was the favorite of the UFC CEO.
