Holland’s last bout was against Michael Chiesa, and he won the bout in the very first round via submission.

Presently, his MMA record stands at 25 victories and 9 losses. Even after achieving some impressive victories in the UFC, Holland is not eyeing the belt. While he was talking in the pre-fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 227, the 30-year-old made it clear that his focus was not on the belt. When an interviewer asked the reason behind the same, Holland lashed out at the interviewer, as he didn’t want to explain why he was not running behind the belt. The response from Holland was quite surprising, as he said that he gets paid for showing up for fights and winning them. He said to the media, “I show up, win fights, do the contract, assassinate the person in front of me, collect cheques and move onto the next one… I don’t concern myself with belts.” He also added that he is not eyeing fighters who are running behind the belt.

Another fan questioned the purpose behind Holland choosing fighting as his career. According to this fan, a fighter should aim to be the best fighter in their division instead of just focusing on the money.
