Chael Sonnen confirmed that Mark Zuckerberg had personally approached him with the proposition of a fight against Elon Musk at UFC 300. Sonnen shared details of his conversation with Zuckerberg, emphasizing the Facebook CEO’s persistent reference to the event’s date, highlighting Musk’s apparent availability.

Sonnen even suggested that Zuckerberg should directly contact Ariel Helwani, hinting that the journalist could facilitate further discussions. Sonnen asserted the veracity of his statement, with his producer, Ethan and his dog Duke, serving as witnesses. However, Ariel Helwani himself expressed some skepticism about the matter.
In response to Sonnen’s claims, a spokesperson for Mark Zuckerberg issued a statement to TMZ, denying the occurrence of any such conversation. The spokesperson refuted the idea that Zuckerberg had personally contacted Sonnen about a potential fight against Elon Musk, casting doubt on the legitimacy of Sonnen’s account.

Interestingly, Dana White, who had previously voiced opposition to “freak show fights” involving billionaires, has shown a newfound interest in promoting this epic clash. Despite his prior reservations, White now asserts that the proposed Zuckerberg-Musk fight would be the greatest fight in history.
UFC legend Michael Bisping has also asserted that he will be available to commentate, while UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has offered to train Mark Zuckerberg for his bout!
