The promotion in question is the Epic Fighting Championship, which is known for staging some bizarre MMA matchups. Fans can find a variety of rules in their matchups on YouTube and other social media platforms.
One heavyweight fighter vs. 3 female fighters
Mismatches inside the cage are nothing new for Epic FC. They have pitted smaller fighters against big heavyweight fighters in the past. However, they one-upped themselves in a recent bout where they featured three women taking on a heavyweight fighter in a handicap bout. It looked like a clear mismatch.
When the fight went underway, the heavyweight male fighter took charge and started landing some nasty blows to one of the female fighters. While the other two were landing their own strikes on their male counterpart. While the fight looked bizarre all the way through, it also had some funny moments. It is unclear who won the fight as all the fighters received gift hampers after it was over.

Some fans commented that these kinds of fights are normal occurrences in Russia. Some even urged UFC president Dana White to promote such fights in the UFC. While some fans weren’t keen on the 1-on-3 fight, others comically claimed that the Russian people understand equality and have taken it to another level. One fan even mentioned the heavyweight fighter took a lot of time to complete his 360-punch move.
Fortunately, none of the competitors involved in the fight suffered from any severe injury. But it does not mean that these kinds of matchups can prove to be extremely dangerous. There are some legit MMA promotions that treat MMA in the strictest forms of the sport, like Eagle FC, which is owned by UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov. But the Epic Fighting Championship promotion never fails to surprise people with its innovations to combat sports. We will have to wait and see what they have in store for the future.
