In combat sports, where possibilities abound, fans eagerly await a potential showdown between two highly-discussed tech billionaires. Prominent figures Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have been playfully hinting to fans on social media about their much-anticipated showdown. 

The fight has even sparked the interest of UFC President Dana White, who has shown his interest and wants the fight to be promoted under the UFC banner. Additionally, White thinks that this fight has the potential to generate one billion dollars in revenue.

However, some recent online events have left the fans in dismay, as Zuckerberg stated that he is moving on from the fight due to the non-seriousness shown by Elon. The UFC President recently talked to TMZ and gave updates about Zuckerberg and his seriousness about fighting.

Dana White talks about Zuckerberg’s training

In a conversation with TMZ, Dana White talked about Zuckerberg’s interest in competing in an actual fight. White stated, “He (Zuckerberg) takes the sport very seriously. He trains very hard, and he is very serious about possibly competing someday.” A statement coming from someone like Dana underlines Zuckerberg’s dedication to preparing himself for the possibility of stepping into the fighting arena.

While Zuckerberg was open to the idea of a fight, he decided not to pursue it with Elon Musk due to Meta’s CEO not wanting to engage in mere speculation without actual plans.

Talking about the entire situation, Dana White said,

“And you know, that’s why he didn’t want to be a part of something that, you know, kept being talked about and probably wouldn’t happen.”

Over time, Zuckerberg has questioned Musk’s commitment to the proposed duel. And now, when he has received no appropriate response from Tesla’s CEO, Zuckerberg stated that perhaps it was time to move on. 

The interviewer also asked Dana White about the possibility of a scenario in which Mark Zuckerberg would end up fighting a UFC fighter. Dana White responded by saying, “Anything is possible, uh, and I would say he is, he is, he is absolutely interested in doing that.”
