Javier Mendez showers praise on Scott Coker

Rumors have swirled for a while, suggesting Bellator could be on the block. The decision by the promotion to feature four championship bouts in Bellator 300 has led many followers to wonder if this might mark the promotion’s concluding event. Talking further on the topic, Mendez also mentioned that the Bellator CEO is someone who does not prefer to stay in the limelight. In the past, when he headed Strikeforce, talents like Luke Rockhold and Daniel Cormier flourished. Mendez believes one of the MMA promoter’s standout qualities is his commitment to keeping the spotlight on the fighters rather than diverting it onto himself.
