“He Got Good Act Together…”: Logan Paul Backs Conor McGregor Despite His Brother Jake Paul Taking a Jibe at the Former Champ

In a surprising turn of events, YouTuber and Professional wrestler Logan Paul has come out in defense of MMA fighter Conor McGregor. It comes as a surprise considering the past interactions between the two celebrities haven’t been so nice. The defense was a response to Logan’s younger brother Jake Paul, dismissing ‘The Notorious’ as an alcoholic. The said incident took place on the latest episode of Logan Paul’s podcast, IMPAULSIVE. On the show, Jake joined him to discuss his upcoming boxing match with Nate Diaz. During the conversation, Logan’s co-host, Mike asked Jake’s opinions on being called a ‘donkey’ by the UFC Veteran. To this Jake said that he will beat up Conor if they ever boxed, referring to the UFC lightweight as an alcoholic.
It was at this point Logan interrupted his brother and came out in defense of the former two-division UFC champion. According to him, he finds Conor’s life story of rags to riches inspiring as the fighter had a ‘rise from the gutter’. He further talked about his respect for the Irishman’s choice of still showing up in the sports despite having a choice to not continue. As for his brother’s allegations, the former D1 wrestler defended the MMA fighter by dismissing it as just a bad phase in the Veteran’s life. In Logan’s words:

“oh…no…no.. I think I think you’re mistaken, I think you’re mistaken. I think he was that for a little bit for some time, and then I think he got his act together and just like many humans. He got his ups, he got his downs and this documentary humanizes him, and the one thing regardless of what you think about Conor McGregor or his wife, he made it out of the gutter with hard fu**ing physical.”
Logan Paul makes a big predictor for Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor

Actor turned boxer, Logan Paul has made some big predictions regarding his upcoming bout with MMA veteran Nate Diaz. According to the former Disney star, he is going to knock out the former UFC title challenger, something which Conor McGregor Couldn’t do. Apart from this, Jake believes he is going to do the same with Conor as the Irish men ‘can’t box as well’ as him. Previously, Conor and Nate have fought two times, with each coming out as the winner once. Nate handed Conor his first loss in UFC while the ‘Notorious’ stole a decision victory for him in the rematch. It is noteworthy that Nate has never been knocked out cold in his entire MMA career.

The boxing match between Jake and the ‘Stockholm Slugger’ is scheduled for 5 August, this year. To date, ‘The Problem Child’ has amassed a record of 6-1 in his professional boxing career. In contrast, it’s Nate’s debut in professional boxing. But the California native comes with an experience in over 34 MMA bouts. As of now, Jake has faced several big names in MMA, including Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Ben Askren. However, none of them has been able to beat Paul at his game.
