After spending the past few weeks immersed in politically controversial topics, UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan appears less inclined to delve into that direction. Now focusing on Hollywood-themed podcasts, he recently hosted Adam Sandler, where they discussed topics like the Will Smith- Chris Rock incident. In a surprising turn, Rogan’s latest episode, #2191, features veteran Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.

This information was posted on the Popular Reddit page r/JoeRogan with the caption “Joe Rogan Experience #2191- Russel Crowe.” This was definitely a welcome change for fans, especially since fans had previously been frustrated with Rogan’s repetitive choice of comedian guests. The new guest announcement rejuvenated interest in Rogan’s podcast. A few weeks ago, Rogan faced controversy for praising Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent presidential candidate, angering some Republican Party representatives, including Donald Trump.

Fans excited to see Russell Crowe as the new podcast guest

The comments section of this Reddit post praised Joe Rogan for choosing Russell Crowe as his new guest. one fan commented, “Joe is on a roll,” while another expressed hope for more guests like Adam Sandler and Russell Crowe. He also urged Rogan to avoid COVID-19 discussions, saying, ” Man, Joe is having a streak with great guests, hope he doesn’t miss it with stupid conversations about COVID-19.” This is not a new revelation, as Rogan has been frequently criticized for discussing COVID-19 since 2021, and had also previously caused trouble and backlash for the million-dollar podcaster.

Meanwhile, among the comments, there was a fan who had previously criticized Rogan’s guest choices, calling them repetitive and filled with same-old comedians. He commented, “Recently I complained that Joe wasn’t getting good guests and it was the same old comedians and junk, but now he is killing it.”

For the last few months, Rogan had struggled with declining Spotify ranking due to fewer interesting guests, but the episode with Adam Sandler, which has garnered 6.1 million views on YouTube, shows that Rogan is back on track. This sentiment was echoed by another fan who commented, “I really hope this is not going to be another Dennis Quaid-type episode.”

There was another hardcore Russell Crowe fan who declared, “Genuinely one of my favorite people ever.” Crowe’s fan following is strong because he is known as one of Hollywood’s genuinely kind people, consistently delivering quality performances and staying out of controversies. What are your thoughts on Joe Rogan’s new podcast guests?
