Joe Rogan praises Michael ‘Venom’ Page for his fighting style before the UFC  303 clash

Before his move to the UFC, ‘MVP’ was a huge star in Bellator. He not only won the fights but also made a name for himself for his unorthodox style. His style was clearly evident during his UFC debut, which makes him a favorite against Garry at UFC 303 feels Rogan. However, former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub doesn’t quite agree to this. According to him, Ian Garry has the striking ability to knock people out. But Rogan doesn’t quite feel the same. He said, “He’s amazing. Michael Venom Page is amazing.”

One of Page’s biggest strength is his ability to close distances and his quickness inside the Octagon. The UFC color commentator feels he will use his speed against the Irish superstar. Schaub, on the other hand, feels he might just find it tough to do it against Garry. However, Rogan seems highly impressed with ‘MVP’ and further added, “I’ll tell you what you might be right, you might be wrong. I’m interested. I just think that he is the most difficult puzzle on the feet I’ve ever seen. Kevin Holland couldn’t do a f…ng thing to him. Kevin Holland is a good striker, a very good striker “

While Rogan feels that the 37-year-old might just cause a lot of trouble for the 26-year-old, Garry doesn’t quite feel the same. ‘The Future’ is currently undefeated in the UFC and is high on confidence. Such is his confidence that he doesn’t even consider ‘MVP’ a threat.

Ian Garry has no interest in facing Michael ‘Venom’ Page

26-year-old Ian Garry is currently one of the growing names in the division. The Irish superstar has delivered some stellar performances inside the Octagon and is confident of winning the title soon. His next opponent is also unbeaten in the UFC, but that doesn’t bother the 26-year-old. Before, his UFC 303 clash while talking to New York Post’s Scott Fontana, he said, “I have zero interest in fighting MVP, I had zero interest then, I have zero interest now.” Garry is eyeing the welterweight title at the moment and wants to fight someone in the top 5.

Garry is currently the #7 ranked fighter in the division and a win against a top ranked fighter might just push him for a title shot. The 26-year-old further went on to say as to why he doesn’t consider ‘MVP’ a threat and gave his reasons. He said, “He never won a world title at Bellator and he’s had two opportunities to do it and now he’s coming to the UFC, which is the greatest organization in fighting and he thinks he’s going to come into this division and do what?” The fight has already drawn a lot of attention from the fans as both fighters have very different fighting style.

While Page is known for his movement inside the Octagon, Garry is pretty much capable of knocking him out. Who do you think will win the clash?
