Is Sean Strickland confident about winning Israel Adesanya? Jared Cannonier believes he is not. Earlier, Dricus du Plessis was set to fight Israel Adesanya for the middleweight belt. However, things took some unexpected twists and turns when ‘Stillknocks’ pulled out of the bout due to a foot injury. The UFC middleweight champion took to his social media handle to let the MMA community know about ‘Stillknocks’ withdrawal from their upcoming showdown. Followed by it, ‘The Last Stylebender’ even went on to call out Sean Strickland to fight against him in Sydney.

Strickland recently achieved two consecutive victories, and his outgoing attitude is all that’s needed to grab the attention of the fight fans. The 32-year-old’s current MMA record stands at 27 victories and five losses. If the bout between Adesanya and Strickland materializes, it would be his first-ever title shot in the world’s biggest MMA promotion. Recently, their fellow middleweight fighter, Jared Cannonier, has come forward to question Strickland’s motive behind the title shot.
