Bill Maher compares Joe Rogan to Larry King
Bill Maher termed Rogan as the “Larry King of his generation” during an episode of his podcast, ‘Club Random with Bill Maher’. In a conversation with comedian Kathy Griffin, the topic of Larry King came up. Talking about it, Maher expressed his belief that every generation has its own version of the iconic interviewer.

While acknowledging the differences between Rogan and King, Maher highlighted the vast audience that Rogan commands. According to Maher, Rogan’s popularity surpasses even King‘s reach in terms of sheer numbers.
“I would argue that Joe Rogan is not like Larry King, but every generation has its own iteration of that. And certainly, there are differences, but huge audience. Bigger than Larry King ever was.”

Maher’s comparison of Rogan and King carries weight due to their shared ability to conduct interviews in an informative manner.
