UFC rising star Paddy Pimblett recently posted a video on YouTube calling out his former opponent Jared Gordon for a rematch. He was lying in a hospital as his video documented the early stages of ankle surgery. The Baddy’s video caught the eyes of his opponent and Gordon took to Twitter and responded to Pimblett’s statements.

Paddy Pimblett wants to ‘run it back’ with Jared Gordon

While ‘The Baddy’ was in a hospital bed, he mentioned that his doctors couldn’t believe he went on to finish the fight after suffering the injury in the opening round of the fight. He said, “They [his doctors] said, ‘You should have just sat on your stool and not have carried on fighting.” Pimblett then mentioned how people are talking about Jared Gordon winning the fight. ‘The Baddy’ said, “He [Gordon] only done well because me ankle was f*****.”

Paddy Pimblett also mentioned that he feels exhausted watching ‘Flash’ going around and telling people that he should have won the fight. “He’s [Gordon] is just being a bitter little girl, going on every interview site, ‘Oh, I won that fight, I won that fight. Well, lad Joe Solecki beat you [in 2021] but you got a split decision, so shut your mouth,” said Pimblett from his hospital bed.

‘The Baddy’ added that he wants to fight Gordon again and prove everyone wrong. “I want to punch his head in toward the end of the year,” said ‘The Baddy’. He added, “I am going to run it back.”

Gordon hits back at ‘The Baddy’s harsh words

‘Flash’ responded to Pimblett’s fiery YouTube video on Twitter. He mentioned that he was also suffering from an ankle injury of which the UFC was aware about. Gordon said, “Funny thing is going into this fight, I had an ankle injury as well, documented by UFC. I couldn’t walk for weeks after our fight, too.” Jared Gordon claims to have been in a difficult position during his fight due to his ankle. But he powered through.
