Mixed martial arts have been on the rise ever since the Ultimate Fighting Championship instituted tighter rules. The sport has been formalized with more focus on safety and rules. However, the UFC is not the only organization to hold MMA championships. ONE Championship and Bellator MMA have grown side by side with the UFC. But there are other promotions with diverse styles too. As one might expect, the birthplace of Muay Thai holds its own championships. Fight Circus is one such platform in Thailand that provides fighters with a stage to display their skills. However, it’s not always the fighters who showcase their art. 

A few weeks ago, in Fight Circus 4, the CEO of the organization, Jon Nutt, decided to land in the arena and fight two men at the same time. However, things didn’t go as expected.

Fans react to Jon Nutt taking on two opponents

The man behind the Full Metal Dojo and Fight Circus, and one of Thailand’s greatest MMA promoters, got taken down after willingly facing two opponents simultaneously. Although it was simply a casual fight, the energy seemingly radiated with much larger intensity. 

Moreover, Nutt was dressed in a smart look, while the fighters were wearing MMA shorts. The fighters go by the names ‘Bank’ and ‘No Money’. The bout did not disappoint the audience.

Recently, the fight was posted on Instagram with the caption, “Only in Thailand – Business man took on 2 Nak Muay in MMA fight. The industry has always been wild, but this is something else.” However, fans had something else to say:

• he lasted longer than i would’ve
• that was actually the owner of the promotion 💀 bro willingly got beat up
• Bro went for the double guillotine
• Bro just wanted to feel something
• Almost got that double choke slam, would’ve shamed both of them & ended their careers.
• He could’ve had em lowkey
• Bro got hands
• Am i the only one who thought this was a lord of the rings reference?

UFC contender Will Chope in Fight Circus

The UFC welterweight contender and former opponent of Max Holloway, Will Chope, fought ‘Bank’ and ‘No Money’ in Fight Circus 3. As many fans anticipated, the fight indeed went to Chope. Kazuo Misaki, the Japanese middleweight champion posted a clip of the fight on Twitter. 

Misaki wrote, “Will Chope chokes out either Bank or No Money (still have no idea) to claim the MMAsymmetrical championship.” Nonetheless, the 2 versus 1 bout was in fact brutal, as per many fans.
