Imagine he would have a heart attack like interviewing a world championship fight.” The UFC bantamweight could not agree more with Rogan. He mentioned how he himself has experienced the dedication of the announcer.

Buffer: His journey to becoming the voice of the octagon
Bruce Buffer is a prominent figure in the promotion who stepped foot in it in 1996. UFC was founded in 1993. This means that the American announcer was entertaining people from the early days of the promotion. His first-ever announcement in the promotion was at the UFC 8 preliminary fight.

Later, Buffer played the announcer’s role for all the UFC 10 fights. By the time the promotion hosted UFC 13, the entertainer had convinced the owner of the organization, Robert Myer, to appoint him as a full-time ring announcer.
