Any UFC fight seems incomplete without Bruce Buffer‘s announcement. Every single time, he takes the fans to the peak of excitement by screaming, “It’s time.” Buffer is known as ‘the voice of the octagon’ as he always remains successful in setting the mood for every single bout. The 55-year-old UFC commentator Joe Rogan has said the same on several occasions. Rogan feels that Buffer is the best at what he is doing and that there is no one better than him at it. Rogan continued, “He scream out one day and we are gonna lose him and he is gonna drop dead and it will be like the most appropriate way for a guy like him to die. Imagine he would have a heart attack like interviewing a world championship fight.” The UFC bantamweight could not agree more with Rogan. He mentioned how he himself has experienced the dedication of the announcer.

Buffer: His journey to becoming the voice of the octagon

Bruce Buffer is a prominent figure in the promotion who stepped foot in it in 1996. UFC was founded in 1993. This means that the American announcer was entertaining people from the early days of the promotion. His first-ever announcement in the promotion was at the UFC 8 preliminary fight.
