The world of combat sports can be challenging for some individuals, as it includes elements that can not only physically batter you but also affect you mentally. YouTuber turned boxer and wrestler Logan Paul recently challenged Nick Diaz to a fight. He suggested that the fight be held alongside a match with Nate Diaz versus Jake Paul in the octagon. The idea was that both the Diaz brothers and the Logan brothers would be fighting side by side in an MMA match in the same venue. In response to this, a teammate of Nate Diaz has now come up with some advice for Logan Paul.

As the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis fight approaches, and with Dillon Danis consistently taunting and embarrassing Logan Paul both online and offline, Nate Diaz’s teammate, Jake Shields, believes it is unnecessary for the wrestler to challenge Nick Diaz to a fight.

Jake Shields react to Logan Paul’s challenge to Nick Diaz

When expressing his thoughts on Paul challenging Nick Diaz despite having a fight with Dillon Danis on the same card, Jake Shields, a former UFC fighter and teammate of Nate Diaz, said, “I feel that at the moment, he should be focusing on other things instead of fighting Nick Diaz.”

Logan Paul is all set to fight Dillon Danis on October 14th in Manchester, England. Dillon Danis is highly determined to defeat Logan Paul as he makes his debut. He has also unleashed a vitriolic attack on Paul and his fiance, Nina Agdal, on the internet. Given this, Shields might have been perplexed by the challenge issued to Nick Diaz by Logan Paul. Meanwhile, Nick had quite a bit to say about the Paul brothers.

Nick acknowledged that he was grappling with personal challenges outside the octagon prior to his decision to step away from his rematch with Robbie Lawler two years ago. Having competed only once in the last eight years, Nick has shown a keen interest in facing both Logan and Jake. He stated, following his brother’s recent loss, “Let’s not beat around the bush; I’m considerably more skilled than the two individuals currently in the spotlight.”

Logan Paul throws down the gauntlet

Logan Paul, the YouTube-turned-boxer and wrestler, and his brother Jake Paul caused quite a stir at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, during a recent event. While Jake Paul defeated Nate Diaz, Logan Paul is gearing up for a boxing match against Dillon Danis at the Misfits Boxing ‘Prime Card’ in October. However, he didn’t let that stop him from challenging nick diaz.

During an episode of the “Impaulsive” podcast, Logan took the mic to challenge none other than MMA veteran Nick Diaz to an MMA showdown. He didn’t hold back, saying,”Let’s sweeten that pot a little bit because I know you’ve been having trouble to convince Nate to fight you in an MMA match,” Logan said on his Impaulsive podcast. “Why don’t we get me on the same card and I’ll fight Nick Diaz?”

In light of the upcoming Paul vs. Danis fight and the ongoing rivalry between the two, Jake Shields has wisely advised Logan Paul to focus on his immediate challenge with Danis. Challenging Nick Diaz at this juncture could divert his attention and energy. Prioritizing his current fight and ensuring he’s fully prepared for the battle ahead on October 14th in Manchester, England, makes sense for Paul. As the world awaits the match, one question lingers: Will Paul take Shields’ advice and focus on the match, or will he keep on challenging Nick Diaz? Only time will tell.
