UFC Kansas City had a big card featuring great performances from Edson Barboza and Brandon Royval, who, according to UFC president Dana White, should have opened the main card. However, the main event didn’t disappoint the fans, as ‘Blessed’ Max Holloway showed that he still has a lot to offer inside the Octagon.

Daniel Cormier believes that Max Holloway is “getting better”

DC recently posted a video on his YouTube channel and shared his opinion on Hollway’s impressive win over an undefeated fighter in Arnold Allen. He believes that ‘Blessed’ has become much calmer inside the cage. Cormier said, “The most important thing to think about, though, was Max’s [Hollway] patience in this fight.”

Daniel Cormier also mentioned ‘Blessed’s tendency to throw go for the kill during the latter stages of the match. He said, “He wasn’t reckless… wasn’t throwing caution to the wind… only did that in the last ten seconds.” The UFC Hall of Famer talked about Hollway’s fight against Ricardo Lamas in UFC 199. Daniel Cormier said that he saw the same thing in the fight against Allen. He said, “This reminds me of the time when he pointed to the center of the Octagon in Anaheim and they just went at it for ten seconds. Tonight against Arnold Allen, with the last ten seconds, he dropped Allen because he said let’s just fight.”
