UFC star Jorge Masvidal announced his partnership with hip-hop artist Anuel AA in starting a new bare-knuckle fight promotion in 2021. The promotion was named the Gamebred Fighting Championship. But Masvidal’s company had to pay some money to rectify a spelling mistake in the promotion’s name.

‘Gamebred’ is no stranger to bare-knuckle fighting. He had participated in bare-knuckle bouts during his time as a street fighter. However, he met with an obstacle in the company’s registration process. They misspelled his promotion’s name and named it, ‘Gamebread Promotion’s LLC.”

Moreover, Masvidal’s company had to pay 25 dollars to rectify the mistake and rename it as “Gamebred Promotions, LLC.” His promotion is one of two notable organizations in the bare-knuckle fighting space. The other promotion, Bare Knuckle Fighting Champion (BKFC), is a much more prominent name in MMA.

The details regarding Masvidal’s company’s name change resurfaced on social media. Many MMA fans took the opportunity to express what they felt about the situation.
