Conor McGregor is scheduled for a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Ahead of this fight, there have been many disputes and trash talk going back and forth. However, McGregor’s recent tweet about a proposition for the fight caused Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager to share his thoughts on Twitter.
McGregor took it to Twitter and said, “Let’s do two belts actually @ufc. Champ Champ always does two. We’ve got “The McGregor Belt” currently in creation, and now we’ve got the all new “RMF” belt. “The Richest Motherf**ker Belt”. This way we can put both the rubies and the emeralds to good use.”
Abdelaziz didn’t reply to McGregor’s original tweet. Instead, he retweeted a reply to a website’s tweet. The famed MMA manager wrote, “This guy only fight for money he will never win @ufc Title again.”

This feud between McGregor and Nurmagomedov’s team started way back when the pair clashed with each other inside the octagon at UFC 229. Since then, Abdelaziz has never lost a chance of roasting McGregor. Hence, he was quick to latch onto this opportunity as well.
McGregor has never been to shy away from a battle, and with him showing shades of his old self returning, it would be interesting to see his response.
Conor McGregor- the first UFC two-division champion
‘The Notorious’ McGregor defeated Jose Aldo at UFC 194 and became the UFC featherweight champion. Three fights later, he faced ‘The Underground King’ at UFC 205 for the UFC lightweight championship while he was the UFC featherweight champion. Even before making history in the UFC, McGregor was already a former two-division champ in MMA promotion Cage Warriors. That just means McGregor was repeating the greatest achievement of his MMA career in the UFC. Now, it’ll be interesting to see if his desire for the showpiece belts comes true at UFC 264.
