Tom Hardy is not just an MMA fan, but also a practitioner as well. The Hollywood star is a Jiu-Jitsu ace with a blue belt under his name. 

We have lately seen The Mad Max: Fury Road star taking part in several Jiu-Jitsu competitions as well as performing really well in them. Most recently, the actor bagged another win at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship. 

Ultimate Martial Arts Championships held a competition at Oakgrove School in Milton Keynes. The audience saw Hardy dressed in a blue gi, moreover, he emerged victorious against every opponent he faced.

Fans in awe of the ace Jiu-Jitsu skills of Tom Hardy

Upon watching Hardy decimate his opponents on the mat, fans were in utter shock. Furthermore, reactions came pouring in on the internet regarding the brit’s performance.

One of the fans complimented Hardy for being a real-life “bada**” like he is in his movies. He said, “Bad*ss in movies and real life”

Another user was in awe of Tom Hardy being someone’s opponent in a fight. She wrote, “Imagine going to your first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu open championship and your opponent is flippin Tom Hardy😭😂”

While one fan contributed to his movie, Bronson for his ace Jiu-Jitsu skills. “Cannot picture Tom Hardy doing martial arts without thinking about the scene in Bronson where he makes the prison guard butter him.”

Moreover, another fan called Tom Hardy a legend. “This guy is a f*cking legend”

Meanwhile, a user pointed out Hardy’s active participation in such competition and said he’s chasing the purple belt. He wrote, “He’s been competing a lot this summer. Somebody’s hunting for that purple”

A tweet went on to say, “I always assumed he would kick the sh*t out of me but now I have confirmation 😀”

The actor won a lot of fans’ hearts not just by displaying top-notch performance but for his humble nature. The spokesperson from the competition said, “Everyone recognized him, but he was very humble and was happy to take time out for people to take photographs with him. It was a real pleasure to have him compete at our event.”

Is Hardy chasing the purple belt?

This isn’t the first tournament that Hardy has won. Previously, the actor took part in a similar type of jiu-jitsu tournament where he performed exceptionally well. Moreover, he bagged a gold medal there. 

That was an exhibition Jiu-Jitsu tournament that REORG executed to provide Jiu-Jitsu training to disabled combat veterans in the United Kingdom. The event took place at Wolverhampton. 

The actor shows extreme activity by competing in competitions, despite having such a tight schedule. One can only wonder if he wishes to upgrade his blue belt to a purple one.
