Former UFC two-division champion, Henry Cejudo, advised Francis Ngannou to take the money route and fight Tyson Fury instead of a heavyweight clash with Jon Jones.

‘The Predator’ went against all odds and recently defeated the former interim champion, Ciryl Gane, at UFC 270. The Cameroonian fighter displayed amazing wrestling skills in the fight. However, this was the last fight in his contract and is facing differences with the UFC to make a new deal.

The heavyweight champion has demanded a pay raise and also a boxing add-on in his contract, which is not sitting well with the promotion. Hence, his future in the UFC is uncertain.

Meanwhile, ‘The Predator’ has also been offered a boxing match by the legend Tyson Fury and he is interested in the fight, as it will earn him more money than the UFC pays.

Hence, in a recent video, Cejudo said, “I think Francis is going to be smart about what he has to do. Of course, I helped Jon (Jones) I coached Jon. I would love to see him fight Jon Jones. But that’s not the case here.”

“The case here is there’s about 40 million waiting for him if he fights the Gypsy king. And I believe that’s the route that he’s going. I knew the UFC offered him, you know, a lot more than what they had ever offered.”

“But that being said, man, I think he’s gonna take the money route. He’s gonna fight the Gypsy king. He’s gonna do this exhibition and I think he should hold out. I believe he does deserve a 40 million dollar payday. Because that’s exactly what he would get if he has to fight the Gypsy king.”

Will Francis Ngannou fight Tyson Fury

‘The Predator’ and Tyson Fury have been going back and forth on the internet for a long time now. And both the athletes want to collide inside the boxing ring. However, the fight has less probability to come to fruition as they sign the Cameroonian fighter with UFC.

In the past, the UFC star, Conor McGregor, who took on Floyd Mayweather inside the boxing ring in 2017, made such a transition possible. However, it was a one-time thing also the UFC president Dana White is not interested in such transitions anymore.

However, anything is possible in the sport called MMA. Hence, not now, but we might surely see Ngannou competing inside a boxing ring in the future. Only if both the parties come to a viable conclusion.
